What we run
Announcements about products, pricing, integrations, published terms, leadership and funding from companies in property claims technology, measurement services, contractor software and property data. A press release we run is labeled Press release, credited to the issuing company, and kept separate from newsdesk items. A newsdesk item drawn from a release is rewritten in our own words with the release cited.
What to include
The release text; the date it may run; a contact name and email; and a source URL for any figure in it (a pricing page, a product page, a filing). Releases with figures we cannot verify against a public page are held until we can, or run with the figure removed. Email [email protected] with the subject line Press release.
What we do not do
We do not sell placement in the news, explainer or feature sections, and we do not run releases as if they were newsdesk reporting. Paid placements are labeled and handled through Advertise.
